Ø Incoming material test

Ø Seek to minimize inventory, cycle time, system complexity, and unnecessary processing steps. Focused on eliminating non-value added activities, this includes reducing wasted effort, delays, and defects. Focuses on a streamlined and efficient manufacturing process
Ø Collect, organize and analyse data to identify systemic improvement opportunities
Ø Provide strategic direction, training, and facilitation to achieve a culture of continuous improvement
Ø Ability to analyse business processes and develop systems-based solutions that will improve current state
Ø Use scientific methods to determine the root cause of problems and support activities to develop solutions
Ø Provide process engineering technical support to Operations and Maintenance
Requirements:

Ø Knowledge of laboratory safety practices and procedures.

Ø Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin, writing in English

Ø Production and Processing - knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing effective production of goods
Ø Psychology - knowledge of human behaviour and performance; individual differences in ability, personality and interests; learning and motivation.
Ø Must have a thorough understanding of Lean Manufacturing strategies including but not limited to 5S, standard work and material flow systems
Ø Basic Lean/Continuous Improvement experience in a manufacturing environment
Ø Basic computer skills, basic presentation and report writing skills
