Guided Tour on Islamic Culture & Cuisine

On 29 November, Maritime Silk Road Society (MSRS) held the “Guided Tour on Islamic Culture & Cuisine”, which gave around 30 MSRS members a chance to visit the Kowloon Mosque and try out foreign food, thus offered a down-to-earth perspective to understand local Islam religion and Arabic culture.
The tour highlights included an introduction to Islam beliefs and history by Imam Sulaiman Wong, a visit to the prayer hall, and lunch at a Turkish restaurant. The meal included several traditional Turkish Muslim dishes, such as Turkish meatballs Köfte, various meat Döner, Kebab, and Turkish tea.
