Mrs Regina Ip Met with Turkish Consul General

On 19 October, MSRS Co-Chair Mrs Regina Ip had a meeting with Turkey's Consul General Mr Peyami Kalyoncu. They exchanged views on Turkey's cooperation with China and Hong Kong in economics, trade, tourism, culture and the Belt and Road Initiative. Mr Kalyoncu arrived in Hong Kong slightly over a year ago. He read Mrs Ip’s articles regularly and considered them full of common sense and guidance. During the meeting, Mrs Ip introduced MSRS' work to promote the Belt and Road Initiative, including our Management Trainee and Summer Internship programmes and collaboration with Consulate Generals in Hong Kong. Mr Kalyoncu indicated that he would actively cooperate with MSRS in organizing seminars and other activities to promote "people-to-people bonds" and expand exchanges between Turkey and Hong Kong.
