MSRS Organized Full River Red Movie Screening

In order to deepen young people’s understanding of Chinese history, the Maritime Silk Road Society (MSRS) organized a movie screening on Full River Red on 27 May at MOViE MOViE Cityplaza. The movie was premiered on 2 March in Hong Kong, with the story set in the Song Dynasty, four years after General Yue Fei's death when a mysterious murder occurs at Chancellor Qin Hui's residence. During Qin's meeting with the delegates from the rival Jin Dynasty, a confidential letter is reported missing. Qin’s subordinates are therefore responsible for finding the murderer.

Before the movie started, Mr Alex Wong, CEO of MSRS, gave a welcoming speech. Guests at the movie screening included Mr Kevin Yeung, Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr Joseph Chan, Chairman of Silk Road Economic Development Research Center and Honorary Advisor of MSRS; Dr Ji Wei Wei, Founding Chairman of Hong Kong Public Archaeological Society; Ms Sara Ta, Manager of International Office, Vocational Training Council; representatives of Hong Kong Shue Yan University; and MSRS members.
