9th Anniversary of the Maritime Silk Road Society and Sharing Sessions

The 9th Anniversary of the Maritime Silk Road Society (MSRS) and Sharing Sessions was held on 14 September to celebrate the special occasion of the Society and the successful completion of “Operation Zhang Qian 2024” interns.
Mrs Regina Ip and Mr Bernard Chan, Co-Chairs of the MSRS, and Mr Roland Wong and Dr Charles Ng, Vice-Chairs of the MSRS Youth Opportunities Committee, delivered their remarks at the ceremony. Other officiating guests included MSRS Honorary Advisors and Executive Committee Members.
In addition to representatives of hosting companies, participating institutions and students under “Operation Zhang Qian 2024” internship programme, participants of youth and cultural exploration tours also attended the ceremony.
After presentations by 5 summer interns, participants of cultural exploration and business exchange tours organized during the year went up to the stage to talk about the experience acquired and knowledge gained from various trips, including “B&R and Guizhou” Technological and Cultural Exploration, “Sichuan Chengdu Archaeological & Cultural Exploration”, “Belt & Road: Malaysia Business and Trade Tour”, “Türkiye – Ancient Silk Road Exploration” and “Guangxi Business Delegation to Study The Strategic Hinterland of The GBA”.
