Webinar on Opportunities of Expo 2020 Dubai

“Webinar: Opportunities at EXPO 2020: Work, Live, and Study in Dubai” organized by the Maritime Silk Road Society (MSRS) was held online on September 10. Ms Eunice Yung, Vice-Chair of Youth Opportunities Committee of MSRS & LegCo Member, delivered a welcome speech. Ms Alma Au Yeung, Corporate Director – Strategic Projects and Partnerships of Emaar Hospitality Group, and Mr Tom Hui, Marketing Executive, Dukes The Palm, were the speakers.

During the session on work in Dubai, Ms Alma Au Yeung introduced to us five must visit landmarks in Dubai. Mr Tom Hui highlighted the international events that had been held at Dukes The Palm Hotel. He also shared information about higher education in Dubai. Ms Alma Au Yeung then talked about her experience of living in Dubai for 16 years to enable the participants to obtain valuable information from the sharing.

After that, the speakers responded to questions from the participants one by one. They provided participants with a clearer vision of life, culture and development opportunities in Dubai. The sharing certainly helped open people’s mind for living and learning in Dubai. In the quiz session, the participants were encouraged to take part in the quiz to win fabulous prizes, including Dubai Expo 2020 day pass and Burj Khalifa admission tickets sponsored by Emaar Hospitality Group and Burj Al Arab souvenirs sponsored by Mr Tom Hui.
