"Chinese Traditional Diplomacy and the Belt and Road: Academic vs. Strategic Thoughts" Seminar

Organized by the Maritime Silk Road Society (MSRS), the “Chinese Traditional Diplomacy and the Belt and Road: Academic vs. Strategic Thoughts” seminar was held on 12 May. Mr Peter Tso, lawyer, was the guest speaker. Ms Lo Kai Yin, Honorary Advisor of MSRS, was one of the participants.
Mr Tso started his presentation by introducing the fundamental concept of the School of Diplomacy and its role in the “Belt and Road” Initiative (BRI). He explained how the lobbying decision-making principles can be applied to the BRI as strategic thoughts.
During the Q&A session, participants raised questions regarding Artificial-Intelligence (AI), strategic thoughts and differences between Chinese traditional diplomacy and Western religious thoughts.
