Guangxi Delegation Met with Mrs Regina Ip on Greater Collaboration

Mr Song Haijun, Deputy Director-General of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region’s Hong Kong & Macao Affairs Office met with Mrs Regina Ip, Convenor of the Executive Council, LegCo Member and Co-Chair of Maritime Silk Road Society (MSRS) on 27 March. During the meeting, Mr Song briefed Mrs Ip on the framework of a major event to be held in Hong Kong that would propel in-depth and high level cooperation between two places and the vibrant and strategic developments taken place in Guigang City.
Mrs Ip was supportive of the large-scale event and was impressed by the visionary project. She also took the opportunity to thank Mr Song for the continued support of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, in particular the provision of places for MSRS’s summer internship programme. She also expressed interest in leading a delegation to Guangxi for closer partnership and greater collaboration.
