MSRS Youth Opportunities Committee Attended “ASEAN Film Festival” Opening Reception

Organized by the Hong Kong-ASEAN Foundation, the ASEAN Film Festival aims to promote a deeper understanding and appreciation of culture through the art of storytelling by films. On 5 September, Dr Charles Ng, Vice-chair (Entrepreneur) of the Youth Opportunities Committee of Maritime Silk Road Society (MSRS) was invited to attend the opening reception of the Festival.
The opening film was a Thai blockbuster “How to Make Millions before Grandma Dies” shown at the Jockey Club Hong Kong Auditorium of the Hong Kong Palace Museum. The film tells the story of a youth, driven by the desire for a multimillion-dollar inheritance, puts aside his dreams as a hopeful game caster to care for his terminally ill grandmother.
During the reception, the MSRS representatives were warmly received by Mr Charles Chia, CEO of the Hong Kong-ASEAN Foundation. They also took the opportunity to have photos with the leading actress Ms Usha Seamkhum and the young director Mr Pat Boonnitipat.
