Luncheon Sharing on “Young marketing professional in the hospitality and aviation industry”

On 7 November, the Maritime Silk Road Society (MSRS) and the Silk Road Economic Development Research Center jointly organized a luncheon sharing on “Young marketing professional in the hospitality and aviation industry” hosted by Mr Tom Hui, a young marketing professional in hospitality and aviation industry. Oriental Patron Investment Management Limited was the venue sponsor of the activity.
Driven by the Belt and Road Initiative, the tie between Hong Kong and United Arab Emirates (UAE) in economy, trade, and tourism has been brought closer and closer. During the talk, the local born young marketing professional in the hospitality brands and international aviation industry shared his insights with aspiring youth in managing brand standards, creating successful marketing campaigns, and future development opportunities in the UAE.
Mr Hui introduced the geographical location, population profile, religious beliefs, culture and art, and future development of the United Arab Emirates (including Dubai). He also used projects he had participated in strategic planning related to story-telling culture like camel racing, falcon show, traditional sword dancing as well as festivals based on multiculturalism as case studies to demonstrate how to build successful brands for clients.
Introduction of Speaker: Tom Hui is a marketing professional with over 5 years’ experience in event sponsorship, digital marketing, and brand building in Dubai and Hong Kong. He spearheaded the brand standards and digital marketing projects for Marriott Marquis Dubai Creek, Hilton Dubai Creek, Dukes The Palm Dubai and Hong Kong Airlines. He currently serves as the Supervisor, Service Project and Standard at Hong Kong Airlines.
