As a Hong Kong student, embarking on an internship journey in Greece as both a translator intern and a marketing intern in a real estate company has been a transformative experience. It allowed me to immerse myself in the rich Greek culture and enhance my language skills. I had the privilege of bridging communication gaps between international clients and the company's representatives. This role demanded quick thinking, adaptability, and a deep understanding of both languages and cultures. Through my interactions, I learned valuable lessons about effective communication, cultural sensitivity, and the importance of building strong relationships in a global business environment.
My role as a marketing intern exposed me to the dynamic world of real estate and the strategies employed to attract clients. I was involved in various marketing campaigns, including social media management, content creation, and market research. This internship provided me with insights into the real estate industry's nuances, such as market trends, customer preferences, and the significance of delivering tailored solutions to meet diverse needs. I also developed my analytical skills by monitoring campaign performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Throughout my internship, I gained a deeper understanding of the real estate industry's intricacies and the key factors that drive success.
