During my internship at Xinyi Group, I gained comprehensive exposure to the core responsibilities and workflows of the Human Resources and Administration function. My learning encompassed key areas including recruitment processes (resume screening and interview coordination support), employee training organization and implementation, fundamental personnel affairs management, company attendance systems and operations, and assisting with employee relations matters. This hands-on experience provided me with a solid foundational understanding of daily HR operations.
To gain deeper business context, I actively participated in visiting the production workshops. This direct exposure allowed me to grasp the manufacturing processes, key technologies, and quality control procedures involved in glass production. Xinyi’s advanced production line construction also significantly enhanced my knowledge of the current market dynamics, development trends, and challenges within the glass industry.
Two specific assignments left me powerful impression. The first was participating in the data maintenance for the company's extensive employee database, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of employee records. The second involved assisting in the consolidation of various HR and administrative reports at month-end. These tasks underscored the critical value of digitizing and systematizing HR work and employee information. This approach provides a comprehensive overview of the workforce, forming a vital foundation for efficient company operations and informed decision-making.
Furthermore, witnessing Xinyi Group's synchronized global operations model was an invaluable lesson. I learned how the company strategically configures manufacturing, sales networks, and other functions across different global locations, adapting to specific regional market characteristics, resource availability, and regulatory environments. This mature global strategy exemplifies the sophisticated operational thinking characteristic of successful international corporations.
This internship at Xinyi Group provided me with an invaluable opportunity to gain an in-depth awareness of the practical operations of corporate administration and human resources functions. Acquiring firsthand experience in a real-world setting not only broadened my knowledge of these areas but also clearly highlighted areas where my application of professional knowledge and transferable skills require further development. This insight provides clear direction for enhancing my capabilities in my future studies and professional endeavors, regardless of my chosen field. Furthermore, this substantial experience significantly deepened my comprehension of modern corporate operational models. Xinyi Group's rigorous management systems, global perspective, and profound industry expertise served as an exceptionally valuable learning benchmark.
