Embarking on a two-month overseas internship in sunny Athens, was an unforgettable experience for me. The sheer wonder and excitement of working overseas, combined with the vibrant charm of Greece, made every moment an absolute delight.
Athens, the cradle of Western civilization has always been a place where ideas flourished and dreams took flight, so as the company. My colleagues were supportive and always encouraged us to think creatively and divergently, as well as exploring unlimited possibilities with an open mind.
My job duties include translating and offering marketing support to the team. One of the projects assigned was to film videos introducing the company, my colleagues pushed me to think out of the box - I had the freedom to unleash creativity. Besides, the translation duty allows me to meet different people very often, this adds an enjoyable and pleasurable element to my adventures. From interacting with clients from the globe and working with colleagues from the world, I have gained a profound insight into the way people think across different cultures, it taught me to appreciate diversity, think globally, and be more independent than ever before.
Beyond the professional growth, my time in Greece offered unforgettable moments of exploration. Exploring the crystal-clear waters and the breath-taking architecture was a constant source of happiness. The charming islands and the ancient ruins are just a short distance away. I relished every moment spent in the sun-kissed country and cherished every opportunity to immerse myself in its beauty.
In a nutshell, my two-month adventure in Athens was nothing short of amazing, I am grateful for the incredible journey I went through, and I will cherish the memories forever.
